Elie Saab Spring 2016 Couture

Elie Saab presented his Spring 2016 Couture collection on January 27, 2016. The tropical background created a feeling of traveling to a wondrous paradise. The collection consisted of flowy dresses, pants and unique jumpsuits with multi-strap sandals and lace-up boots. There were neutral colors along with different shades of white and blue. The beadwork and lace embroidery was beautiful and made into intricate designs. Some of the models also had beautiful belts, beaded crowns, multi-layered bracelets and beaded jewelry. Balmain's New Kids' Collection

Balmain is known for it's chic "military jacket styles" and beautiful embroidery. In June 2016, Balmain is coming out with a clothing collection for kids. "According to WWD, Balmain's Creative Director Olivier Rousteing will oversee the production of the collection in-house instead of licensing it out to a childrenswear company like similar brands do (Fashionista)." "WWD states that the 55 piece collection for boys and girls ages six to 14 will range in price from $205 for a sleeveless t-shirt to $5,950 for an embroidered dress." According to Kids' Fashions, "From looking at the picture above, I can tell that this is going to be a cool collection for kids."

Congratulations to Zendaya for "landing her first major beauty contract" with CoverGirl!!!

#Zendaya has a fun, cool and chic style. Whether it is with fashion or beauty, she is constantly setting a trend or doing something new that teen girls love. The 19-year-old started rumors on instagram recently about her possibly becoming a beauty vlogger. If #Zendaya does decide to be a beauty vlogger, I think it would be a nice addition to what she is doing now. She could also show how some of the #CoverGirl products look and work.
